Parting out 77 Century 2 door, The only part I am keeping is the hood. Front bumper and header good. V6 car, fenders look OK. Tail lights OK, Power windows, seat, tilt cruse, AM/FM. Thanks Bill.
Looks like the rear bumper filler is gone. That is what everyone into these cars is after. Nevertheless, it looks like a fairly clean example, with a striking similarity to the 76/77 Oldsmobile Cutlass. I would suspect the two cars share doors. The rear quarters and bumper appear very close to the Cutlass, as well.
possibly looking for drivers door upper panel,im looking for the chrome top with the rubber attached the sits next to the window its held on with some sort of staples.would the rubber piece be pliable.
Sorry for the late reply. The upper inner weather strip with the rubber piece is no good. I know you can buy the outer reproduction not sure if you get the inner with it.
thanks for looking,i guess theres a place on the internet that has them, called window sweeps kinda universal but would look better than nothing there.
Do you have the lower rocker moldings? I need the ones that screw on to the rockers between front and rear wheels, not the ones that clip on the fender, door, and quarter. Thanks
SerSixBR, yes the basic fenders are the same, the header is different, It does have rear bumper shocks. Where are you located? Shipping is a problem for the fenders. 1973gs, I think this has the thin ones that screw on, not sure of condition, will look. Thanks Bill, Omaha, NE.
Still have it? Know it's an old thread but thought I would ask. Needing parts to convert my rollers to PW and a double hump cross member.
Still have it. It has power window, do not know if they work. Door panels are bad. Do not think it has a double hump cross member, but will look, it is a V6 with headers. I think I used on out of a 73/4 Century or Regal or a Pontiac. It all so has the back seat bottom you were looking for.
Thanks GS. I am needing any of the window parts to turn roll-up to PW. Not sure if all the tracks are different or just the part the hooks to the motor and gearing. (maybe that harness too, figured I would just have to make it) The bottom seat I am needing it vinyl with cloth inserts. My interior is perfect and might be best to get another and keeping this one whole and in storage. Like I did with my buckets seat for 30 yrs. My 76 came with the v6 and had only a single hump crossmember but I have seen some in v6 cars but it is rare. You also seem like one of the gurus here...would it be a major task to take the parts from yours to turn mine into a t-top version? I have watched videos of people doing it on camaros. I do my own body and paint at an intermediate level so I "think" I could make it happen unless there might be concerns I have not been made aware of.
I will check out the PW parts, not sure if the harness is all there. Best if you are thinking about T-Tops, for your car this car that has them would be a good one to have, you can take them out and see how they were put in, and have templates for yours. I thought there was a article on stiffing the top when T-tops were installed, not sure it was a GM article not. Thanks Bill.
