I like to ride pedal bikes, really low cost and pretty fun... Made this video on the weekend: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hg4AocUO4Zc&feature=youtu.be
I now have a new found respect for you dude. I ride bikes too... Just can't jump that high. How in the heck do you clear that picnic table without the ramp? Awefrikinsome! Cheers! Nice vid
I dunno, I just picture my bike flying up there and then give it my all.... I took 10 years off and just got back into it last week so I am pretty rusty, and sore LOL....
I'd say that's pretty good for taking 10 years off. I could never get my bike that high without toe clips and that's just a recipe for disaster.
Wish I could do that! I missed the bmx years, having gone from spyder bikes to 10 speed road bikes and then Buicks! I got back into biking in the late 90's, primarily mountain bikes. Now I also build trails...We just built 10 miles of mtb trails at Nockamixon state park here in Pa. www.ridenox.com
Very impressive! Every time I see you make a jump, I think that if I were to try the same jump I would end up in a twisted pile on the concrete. So my hat is off to you for being able to complete those tricks.
Great job! I love mountain Biking, who knows maybe I will end up out your way on vacation some day! Well if it makes you feel better I did fall down twice during the filming of that video... Just a few bruises but well worth it LOL!
Sean, can you do those stunts on a mountain bike too? I can't, so I blame the bike!:laugh: I would have loved to have a bmx bike back in the day but the timing was off. We used to hit trails and do jumps on the spyder bikes we had. Good times!
Yeah I was lucky, I was born in 82 and BMX was really popular in the 80s. By age 14 I was a mechanic at a pedal bike shop and sponsored by GT bikes who was the largest bike company in the world at the time. Till age 17 I was doing shows, races, and competitions representing GT, and it was awesome....It was a lot of fun but too risky to rely on for $. When I was 17 I had a bad crash and almost ended up paralised, so that day I decided to quit and go to a Technical College to get an education... I should have kept my bikes that GT gave me however I told them to stuff it and gave them back... I had 5 bikes all of them worth $3000+, but oh well LOL. I always kept riding however just for fun and never did get another Trials bike till a few weeks back. My old GT bike was about $3000 and I just got this new bike for about $1400 and I find it much better. It weights 24 pounds but I am buying a bunch of new parts to get it down to about 21 pounds so I can hop it higher. Plus I need to hit the gym, my little arms are not strong enough to do the stuff I want to do.... Bikes have came a long way though, my Norco mountain bike I bought in 2008 for $2700 and it is WAY better than any of the bikes GT provided back in the 90s. After 5 years of riding it pretty hard it is still awesome, all I have replaced is shifter cables and brake pads! My old bikes usd to be constantly breaking in half LOL. It's specialty is that it can bomb down a mountain side at 50 miles an hour over jumps and bumps and it is light enough you can ride it back up to the top. I can do some tricks on the mountain bike however it is pretty heavy at about 38 pounds it is a lot harder. This is the heavy Norco: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dlu-82a-MJY http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wp5KCUTITBs I broke my knee cap last Jan working on my truck so I started riding 8-10 miles a day to get is back to full strength, and then was having so much fun riding around on one wheel that I bought a $15 camera and made the above movies... New camera is WAY better as you can see...
Yeah sure, I can do that for you.... I have rode out of the back of a pickup truck that was going 25 miles an hour and I landed it LOL... Not saying it was a good idea but I pulled it off LOL... My pickup has a topper on it but I can hop into a friend's truck for sure LOL! E-mail me if I forget, killed a few brain cells with my crashes LOL....
Way Too Cool Sean. I missed the BMX stuff myself. I had a Schwinn Sting Ray when they First came out, Lotsa fun. I used to ride my 10 Speed to work at Buick, that was back when I was in shape tho. Now I'm Pear shaped. But Man, If you can do all that stuff my Hats off to you. It just confirms my thoughts, This Guy Is Crazy!! :TU: Ride on Man, Ride On. PONCH
New video of me riding 3 different bikes. My heavy full suspension mountain bike, light trials bike with front suspension, and the new rigid trials bike I got last week: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=frdyzyC-KPg I have not forgfot about your request, just not had a chance to get it on film for you yet. Like I said I have a canopy topper on my truck or else I would use that...
Awesome Sean! Also being a kid of the 80s and racing BMX for most of my childhood, I can imagine how great it must feel to get back on the bike. Now I have to go find a DVD coy of this;
Rad is an awesome movie! It is amazing what some people can do on a bike. This video blew my mind: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sv3xVOs7_No
Got some studded tires for one of the bikes so I can ride all winter: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fuMWsN1BrYA&feature=youtu.be
