Lol, it happens. I've done it before, too. . I guess the economy is rough for everyone. I got an offer on it, but I hate to see it jacked up with big rims on it. I did find a 69 skylark convertible locally for a decent price, maybe after the bills........
Well, this last week my wife graduated college. She got a job alot quicker than either of us expected in her field. So after some budget juggling, and a little borrowing it looks like I get to keep my car :TU:. So onwards with the project. I'm hoping I can offload the the tires and wheels that are on it at the moment and pick up the other two draglites I need. Working on a budget this tight is difficult, but hopefully i can still be where I wanted to be at the end of the driving season.
Congrats to your wife on completing school, and extra credit for getting to work right away! Great stuff! My heart sank when you said you were going to have to sell, I am glad you were able to hang on.... I also think it is a cool story about how the car inspired you, and then you found it later.... Keep up the good work!
Awesome, glad you get to keep it. I'm in the list of drooling over that awesome interior (instrument cluster too!). Now I know what year range to scour parts from.
