Probably shill bid, the seller would have taken it I think. If they dump the extra parts at the same time on whoever bought it for more $, that's probably the best they could of hoped for. Watch...it will be back again.....
I sure miss the days of looking in the classifieds on fri with a dognut seeing these and everything else for 3 grand or 4 max, was not that long ago either. 37 grand doesn't get a non running, rusty bottom, rusty fender GS. Total BS, ok back to ebay to perv on 25 grand firebirds or 18 grand 73 dusters!! have a good night ha ha.
When I go to the ebay site it says- "This listing was ended by the seller because the item is no longer available" so who knows what really happened? It's hard to believe a non-running car would get any where near that.
At BJ a 1970 stage 1 4 spd convert just sold for 72k and its a driver another bb convert sold for 52k
I'd be weary of anything from NY that wasn't a summer only car anyway. 10 years in NY can easily render a car nearly worthless. Other than the 70 Convert. on Sat, not such a strong showing @ BJ. Some of these were probably the best deals going all week there: http://www.barrett-jackson.com/application/onlinesubmission/lotdetails.aspx?ln=1254.2&aid=443&pop=0 http://www.barrett-jackson.com/application/onlinesubmission/lotdetails.aspx?ln=1233&aid=443&pop=0 http://www.barrett-jackson.com/application/onlinesubmission/lotdetails.aspx?ln=949&aid=443&pop=0 http://www.barrett-jackson.com/application/onlinesubmission/lotdetails.aspx?ln=972.1&aid=443&pop=0 http://www.barrett-jackson.com/application/onlinesubmission/lotdetails.aspx?ln=1570.1&aid=443&pop=0 http://www.barrett-jackson.com/application/onlinesubmission/lotdetails.aspx?ln=1571&aid=443&pop=0 http://www.barrett-jackson.com/application/onlinesubmission/lotdetails.aspx?ln=1576&aid=443&pop=0
