Tom - It's funny I should see this posting, as I just was waching a youtube video of you runing your 73 against a 69 H/O tonight. You're right to look for another... that was a very cool car. I bought the Mojave 73 Stage 4 speed. You're welcome to take a run at me, but be forewarned I really like the car....
Sorry Tom, I only had one to sell-although Phil just did a frame off on it and it seems he has the market cornered-maybe you can talk him out of one of his:grin:
man that is a beauty-not enough of a project for Tom though he likes em rougher to begin with. Hey tom, get that Mojave car and treat it to your best efforts!
Tom I am at the point that I may sell my Rat 73 4sp. Painted black (from Harvest gold) Black dyed interior (buckets) P,S. P.B. A/C Rear deffoger. Thats all. Car runs great has a wide ratio Supercase Muncie. The #s tran is in my basement in parts. This car would need a real good home. she has some rust issues and sure there is bondo on her. If you r good at bodywork the labor would save you a fortune. This is the 1st 73 I bought it before I was on the board. It is going to waste cause of the other ones.Scottie Motor w A/C and headers, MSD. Not sure what it is worth? Either complete or as a roller. 1st time I think its better to sellou: U can call my cell at 917-217-7596 if interested. Oh have the Sloan papers. Have a great 4th of July.
Anyone remember this one? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z-5EnyAatwg&feature=fvst That was a neat car,I just didn't have the space or time to finish it at that point in time.
What happened to my old one? Phil, was it you that said it might of gone to Canada? A pic of when I bought her back in the early 90's
I'm not sure where the car is...but I still got the roof in that picture, in my garage in case you ever wanna see it again Jason...looks exactly the same I swear!
I worked the assembly line at Framingham plant from 1972-1974. I was on light duty due to a cut...... , so they relegated me to driving the cars off the line. One of the cars was a 1973 black GS Stage 1. It had a red interior, 4 speed, and was so loaded that it had two window stickers. The sticker price was well over $5k, which was expensive. Always wondered where that car went.
How about this one, looks pretty nice, orig survivor, decent price to.... http://boston.craigslist.org/gbs/ctd/2467214486.html
Per my wife's proding - not mine. Would you be interested in a '73 Century Luxus coupe? 455 auto. In parts and disassembled. No rust, frame has been boxed and powder coated and set up for a 6 point cage. Was basically in mint body condition before I started dis-assembly several years ago. The plan - if it ever comes to fruition - is to build it as a restomod/protouring. All parts in climate controlled garage, only item not available is the factory 342 10 bolt posi as I sold the rear to another board member years ago... (should have kept that ou: ) I am the second owner - and have had it since 1984... If anyone else reads this I am NOT parting it out at this time - so please don't ask....
My kids just told me my rat is NOT for sale. we will drive her till she is rotted thru and thru. (yes Tom she does need quarters i have NOS ones but not for this 1) Jason yes your car is in Canada (rebodied, VIN swap) as sold by Zieman as far as I know from last year. Zieman still owes me a NOS front bumper. Don't think I will ever get it. At least I got all the other stuff!
