This car has been in an enclosed 53' trailer by Metro Airport in Romulous Mich since the late 90s.....went there last week and picked up a ton of stuff...it is missing original driveline and rearend......it is completely apart, the body is off frame the interior is all there, buckets console in dash tach all in good to great shape...seats do need recovered but good shape other wise, will be going to get body the weekend of the 4th of Dec....hope no blizzard or anything.......will get pics up as soon as I get car here...will start looking for drive train, it is from Detroit burbs....never been on the net, so another good find, they are still out there....VIN# 4G37U2H106979.....if any info on drive train let me know....Thanks Steve
U-code is for a 455 engine, correct? "V" is for Stage 1, at least from what I could find. I'm sure others here have it all memorized. Here's a link to some VIN info. I'm not sure how to tell if it's an auto or 4-speed car, but you probably already know what it is. In '72, the VIN of the car (last six or so) is stamped on the blocks, so you would know if a particular block is the original or not. Even if you never track it down, a good '72 "WA" block would be a good find. Congrats! Sounds like a fun project. :beer
