Verry cool, from a historical perspective. I dropped my gas tank today to enable me to trunk-mount my NOS bottle. I am replacing the gas line rubber pieces back there while I am at it. Lo and Behold, what have I found? Taped to the top of the tank, the build sheet. Ends up it was originally ordered by a Buick dealership in Fairfield CT, and was built in the Framingham, Mass plant. I couldnt believe it was still intact, considering the shape the car was in when I bought it.:beers2:
Great find Ken! I can't believe how readable it still is. I haven't dropped my gas tank yet - we'll see! ray:
Great find Ken! I have some build sheets already for my '72 - haven't dropped the gas tank yet to look for that one yet.
Nice find! Big question- does the VIN match? They didn't always, so if it does you really got a nice piece of documentation there! :TU:
