1968 Driver's side Headlight bezel. Some pits, not the best or worst I have seen. Still has some shine to the chrome. Pay for shipping and it is yours. I will wait about 2 weeks total and they will go in the crush car I am working on. Anybody need it before I chuck it?
What's the crush car?? Is it a Skylark? I need a small patch for the floor of a '70 if it is. Thanks, Matt
I am cleaning a bit and getting rid of a 71 skylark carcass. I finally transferred the front clip and doors to the 71 GS 455 project I picked up a year and change ago and took that one up to my brother's storage building for long term storage. Now I have a partially stripped Skylark in my backyard that I am going to finally get rid of. I stripped the interior out of it last night and am pulling the motor tonight. :beer
How about a set of window cranks? I have two but need two more but if you have 4 matching I will take them all, if not just the two (if you have them still). And shipped to 30296. Thanks, Ron
This is really not a car to part out. It was a couple of parts that I will be throwing in the stripped out rusty skylark shell I am recycling soon. But... If you have "piece of metal" needs from a 2 door shell I would cut them out for a few bucks(cost of a sawzall blade) plus shipping. Send me photos of the section you need from the door jamb area and I will let you know if its useable. :beer
Re: Skylark parts my "lost" '72 GS 455 recovered... BACKGROUND - the 'STORY' In 1977 at a general auto swap event held at a drive in at the end of the Fort Lauderdale Airport I found a one owner car in Burnished Copper/white top and this being the height of the second oil crises paid $2,300 for the car -- drove it as a daily driver from 1977 through 1986 -- then it sat in the drive way for Weekend use -- OF course the Fla Salt Air etc took its toll and in 1998 needed alot of attention -- a "body guy" owed me money and promised to restore the car -- placed it in his shop and nothing done for 18 mos - then asked me for a check to buy parts gave it to him and then GONE - HURRICANE INTERVENTION - THEN "FOUND" Lost location to Hurricane Charlie, Francis etc then heard of a new location went looking again for the new one but the warehouse I found was demolished by Hurricane Wilma (all buildings crushed) -- then JUST LAST WEEK he called (a mutual acquantance) with a new tel number and since he was closing down asked if I wanted the car back or he was going to crush it !!!! -- got it - full rusted due to sanding - he stripped of all parts like chrome and handles hood trim an intake vents etc. BUT they were in the trunk -- [I took off the bumpers before delivery and still had them (thru the bumper option)]. BUT it had been stored inside all those years - in the warehouse building/complex NEXT door I had the wrong address -- UGH IT RUNS GREAT !! On Saturday check the gas tank - it was still empty -- put gas in the carb vent hole - put in a battery - three cranks it started !!! - water pump frozen but when I last changed it I Neverseized the bolts so they came right out -- now need a choke (both ends) but starts RIGHT UP . trans good drove around the block The "Buick" was loved by my dad and we went driving down the beach, and he just passed so I am going to restore (not to show car status) but rust free -mechanical great - pure stock . DON'T KNOW WHERE TO START - NO CLUE It needs quarters, doors fenders etc - so I need help - on recomendations small parts needed ? Horn Button, chrome pieces that go in the top of the front fenders (stolen from a parking lot in 1984) -- trunk chrome etc etc - who make good quarters Please any advice is welcome ..... EJ I see you are a Buick guy - can I have your number to talk EJ 954-253-8998 Florida
