Guys..I just visited a fello who has a few Buick projex he's now giving up on. ou: This one, is a nice, fairly solid 1940 Special, has a ton of original parts stuffed inside, the fenders and body appear rustfree and straight! The chassis looks OK, the original straight 8 runs, ruff but runs. No noises. Doesnt move. Dynaflow maybe plugged up?? I dunno. Anyway, the owners son is selling it for his dad... The son is asking, what I THINK is a pretty reasonable $1200 for this 1940 Special. Anyone interested in PARTS? Or perhaps the entire car? Contact me for details! :TU: Wheelz, Tampa Bay
You might post this on the Buick Club of America web site. They seem to have a good following for these older Buicks.
ou: ou: ou: my bad. I know its a stick..the shifter is in the pix I took....when the fello told me he couldnt get it to move...I assumed it was a tranny problem....ou: i feel stupid. Maybe it was a CLUTCH ISSUE? ..is that better?? :bla: :TU: Wheelz, tampa bay
Man this is just mean, I want a straight eight car BAD, now that I'm out of work I can't even think about this :ball:
oops..my bad.:Brow: CLARIFICATION: I got funcused with all these Buicks the guy is asking me to try to sell for him...the 1940 Special, he is asking $1900..the $1200 is for the 67 Lark. I misprinted the asking price in the first post. ou: SO, FYI, the 1940 Special is $1900. Did I make this clear now!? Wheelz, Tampa Bay
