Anyone know of source for patch panels-left and right-for rear wheel arch? Checked with Sherman Auto Parts and they show for cutlass but not skylark/GS. Mine can be repaired but would save money if patch panel available. THanks Rod
These are on ebay I dont know if there exact or not its a shame GOODMARK wont make these http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/QUAR...ryZ34204QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
Thanks for link--I'd looked on ebay and missed listing. I too wish Goodmark would make but don't thing it's going to happen. Thanks again. Rod
i have a pair of these q/p patch panels still in the box i wont be needing. if interested pm me...pete
I've heard of guys using an arch cut from a front fender to repair the rear. That may be worth considering.
Hello, if you go to the bench section on this site and do a serch for "67 GS 400 restoration pictures" you will see how I used a 67 fender to repair the rear quarter of my Ivory GS. I hope this helps!
This is so stupid! I cant put pictures here that are already on the site some place else? If you want pictures of how I did it you will have to give me your email address and I will send you some pics.
Fitz thanks for the link - I grabbed the pair last night. $350.00 with shipping, I thought was very reasonable. :TU: What is weird is, I have several favorite searches on ebay in different configurations so I don't miss any parts (I have the Buick 67 skylark, Buck 67 Skylark, Bick 67 Skylark etc.), yet there are times I find the parts I need by someone posting about it here. Thanks again Neighbor (I grew up in Commack):TU:
rlcokc I can help you with the drivers side. I have just at inner/outer lip section about 3 inches up. Rust free. Was going to sell it to yacster but he found the pair on ebay. I only want $25.00 plus shipping I could post a picture if your are interested. Thanks Bill.
Glad my post could help you yackster. I spoke with my body guy and he really doesn't want to mess with whole fender and would rather fix mine that cut and patch whole fender. I've pm'd others about patch panel which would work. The only real problem is rust around wheel arch. I would like to see photos of your repair 67 and my e-mail addy is: cookr@oge.com. Appreciate the help of those responding. Thanks Rod
Rod - Yes tremendously :TU: . . . you have no idea! Anyway, for what it is worth, Bill's wheel arch patches might just do the trick for your repair. I had pics of them and they are nice and can be graphed in by a decent body guy easily. The ones on e-bay are really what I need, I have rot all the way back to the tailpan on the lower 1/4's and if I took Bill's I would still have to fab sheetmetal all the way back to the tail pan. Glad there are a bunch of eyes out there looking and posting these finds. :beers2: PS- No "K" in Yacster
