1/2" "under head length" shoud be plenty of threads. You probably have one that' 3/4" in length and it' bottoming out in the intake Good to know for B4B owners though
Washer or flanged bolt, which is correct? I'm saving up for a bracket as I love the way the hoses look when routed like that.
Thanks Matt that is the sh$t. I love the engineering drawings. Is there a fourth reference beyond, chassis, service and assembly?
Turbo 400 torque converter stator. A good fourth reference is the parts illustration book and or someone with an original car.
Todd, You still have at least one left? If so, $69.95 + $7 Priority mail shipping will show up on my credit card statement as a result of filling out your on-line order form? Thanks.
I sold my last one over the weekend but will get another batch coming! Should have more next week. I can send you mine so you don' have to wait. (I kept one aside for myself) Thank you!
No problem, Todd. I can wait. I'll keep monitoring this thread and submit an order when you announce the next batch is available. Thanks Todd.
I'd love to see a pic of someone who has one of these installed with the actual correct heater hose routing so I can set mine up the same way.
Here's a shot of the Bracket installed on a motor we have in the shop but no heater hoses installed on this one. Maybe someone will post a picture with the hoses installed.......
I'll give ya the bolt for free. Just need to pay shipping. Maybe mention it if you need some other stuff soon and I'll throw it in a future order ? Todd
Original bolt was plain zinc with a washer and no flange. Was 1/2 long. Part number is same bolt used on back of passenger head to hold ground wire.
