It would be nice if there was a requirement to at least indicate the state where the person is. I am forever asking, or see others asking. What say you?
I say nay. It's only relevant in the classified section and only a few users use that section. I understand your frustration but it is what it is.
Also remember that people will invariably put down ridiculous things like "parts unknown" or "neverland" or even "Salt Point, NY", which just sounds completely made up. But yeah, it would be nice if people listed a state and took it seriously.
I asked where you were when you were selling a set of 1970 455 heads. I told you I’m on Long Island. I was next in line. You never answered. I figured you skipped me. I would have driven to pick them up if I liked them. Chris
Chris, that set sold. Rules for selling says you must follow the order of response. Tried looking at the thread, but I must have deleted it as i do once things sell. I don;t recall where in the line you were, so if I overlooked you I apologize. If you are still looking I probably have another set. If you click on my avitar it shows my location. Fred
???? Back on topic - I agree. It would be good to know without having to ask, like for folks who ask for help. Maybe they are next door and I can help in person.
I have my location listed, as many others do. I don't see a problem with doing so, but apparently, some do.
