We don't get many car chases with Buicks, so here's one A '64 Skylark, a '59 Biscayne and a Volvo 122 star in this 1969 chase scene. Unlike "Bullit" the wheel trims once off, stay off.
That was fun! I dig minty-green 64 Skylarks in movies. But does this one have positraction? The tire squeeling seems realistic. The headroom in the 64 Lark does not!
I like very much!!! Sometimes I wonder what young people who are only used to modern cornering verhicles think about car chases like that. It sure looks a lot more spectacular, but most young people would be super scared to ride one of our old cars in such manner. Patrick PS: Buick wins... of course PPS: amazing to see how little steering wheel movement there is. I do need to constantly adjust in order to go straight.
the english title of that flick is "The Olsen Gang in a Fix" one of a series of 14 olsen gang movies: Olsen Gang First appearance The Olsen Gang (1968) Last appearance The Olsen Gang's Last Trick (1998) Location Denmark The Olsen Gang (Danish: Olsen-banden, Norwegian: Olsenbanden, German: Die Olsenbande) is a Danish comedy film series about the eponymous fictional criminal gang. The gang's leader is the criminal genius and habitual offender Egon Olsen and his accomplices are Benny and Kjeld (Kjell in Norwegian). A Norwegian version of the film series was also made (a total of 14 films from 1969 to 1999), in most cases based directly on the scripts for the Danish films. Later, starting in 1981, Sweden also produced their own version: Jönssonligan.
