Just wanted to check and see if there are any updates for this class or is everything still the same as before? I would like to see a copy of the updated rules to make sure my car and others fit into this class?
Last I heard they were the same Denny. My 71 "Black Velvet" still fits, come on in lets race. My .000 RT is tough on a protree foot brake. lol
I will add...exhaust....guys like to push the limits with this....the goal is for it to sound like you have exhaust....I understand that it's easy to meet the rules and it be obnoxious at the same time Let's try to not have a cackle fest with hollowed out or thin wall mufflers....nobody is saying you need to run a 24in long turbo thrush ha just be mindful is all
Nothing I'm aware of out side of what was available last year This is the last year I'll be overseeing GSR. I will be passing it on to a GSR competitor to be named soon. The probability of me ever having another hot rod is beyond slim. I can barely survive with the current cost of living and some other work situations so building a hot rod is simply not possible. I have lost pretty much every thread of enthusiasm for the hobby because of it...so it's only fair for me to step aside and let a fresh,.. enthusiastic and capable individual/s take the reins.
Agreed Ethan. The last couple yrs we had a few cars that technically had exhaust, but it was nothing more than straight pipe with no mufflers
