Monday Sept 1 , 1969 . Would that be Labor Day ??? I don't think they would have been working on Labor Day .
He also tried to dump restamped stage 1 distributors last week beware. If they’re restamp just be upfront you might get more respect.
yeah I was going to pick them up locally before he posted here. Than a few members posted and showed me how they are not original. seams he has a collection of fake high dollar parts.
glad I did not drive out two hours. I hope Jason didnt buy it. I know thats the date he was looking for.
oh like im suppossed to know that the parts i have are noy real well im sure that my parts are real they were in my grandfathers shop for the last 10 years atleast and have the cars that go along with the parts so just maybe you all dont know everything or are just plain retarded
most Buick Guys have integrity. If you suspect you should mention it up front. we have allot of good guys here that can tell the small differences. I'm bummed my Free 70 GS455 was not a stage one. I'm glad I found out while still owning it and not after I sold it as a stage 1car.
70 stage 1 carb were made in batches. All of the dates codes are known. I believe there are 11 of them. Sadly, 2449 is NOT one of them. I'm not going to post thrm because I don't want to arm the restampers. So yeah, its a restamp.
There isn’t anything correct about it. You can see the pad was resurfaced, the lettering is not spaced correctly, the date is not correct, and there are a few other special things to identify it as a Stage1 carb. It might be a perfectly good working carb, and another resort to finding a real one,but value is a lot less.
