Does anyone have a "tried and tested " idle tube orifices , primary, secondary jets, rods etc.. combination for a 464ci, 9.8cr? It's a 76' m4mc. I'm hoping to tune it close enough so that it won't run too lean or rich during cam brake in. The cam specs .501 lift, 289 Deg /281 Deg, 109 lsa. Thanks
Get Cliff Ruggles' book. It has several "recipes" in it that will work. https://www.ebay.com/itm/1547676062...cGw_9kyxYicVVT1xuMwG9mq8QCHKf10xoCJt0QAvD_BwE
https://cliffshighperformance.com/product/how-to-rebuild-and-modify-rochester-quadrajet-carburetors I can also put together a custom kit with tuning and high performance parts for any carburetor part number to take the guesswork out of the equation.......
Thanks, I just received the book and currently reading it. Would you recommend I go with one of the second recipes? In the recipes for success section. For my application. It would be awesome if you could put together a kit for me. Carb number is 17056240
Nice unit and woln't need a lot of help to make a really nice high performance carburetor. Those are the larger castings as well, and convert easily to electric choke.........Cliff
