Ever seen a '34 Bentley? Don't laugh till you see one. Either body style.... unlimited funds you say? Ok both
Damn. Black Widow is the inspiration for my seemingly dead project. Thank you for bringing it up, as this project must be re started immediately.
Well, if I don't have to pay for it or fix it - Lamborghini Sian Roadster (the new, V12 hybrid model)
When on vacation in Ontonagon, MI we went to a car show and there was a Ford GT with Wyoming plates there. I talked to the owner and he drives the car all the time. He had just over 89,000 miles on it when I saw him! Probably the highest milage GT out there!
And he has the right idea. When my daughter was growing up, I did the garage-show-trophy-garage thing for many years like many of us . Fun, but the cars all sat under covers 99% of the time. That was weird as I bought the cars new and had to drive them every day back then, no big deal. Now that I am old, I bought a DRIVER and I DRIVE it all over. That is the point the GT owner knows, and I am sure he enjoys it and doesn't worry about dings and so forth. If it gets hit, I have (and he has, I am sure) very good insurance that will pay even if I am not around any more. I like this part of my life just fine, and driving the car around is a total blast. Cheers!
...must be my age again, used to answer this question with a performance car I couldn't afford back when or some exotic, but now it's more like a '53 Roadmaster Estate Wagon with KH wires, and lately I've been thinking about a '63 225 4829, the "Riviera" 4 door hardtop...
I wouldn't argue with a s1 4 speed '70 gsx, or a gnx. If it's not a Buick, it's a black/red 1962 impala ss. 4 speed dual quad positraction 409, of course. Love my 69 c10 to death and I'll never sell it, but I already have it so it can't make the list.
my dream car is a 1971 Buick GS Stage 1 convertible with all( I mean all) options in triple black. 12bolt, n25 the works. Tim
