Asking $700 or reasonable offers here. Asking more other places. Can deliver to the GS Nats or will travel as far as Louisville, KY or Nashville, TN with a few days notice at no extra charge. According to this page, this is a January 04, 1972 date code transmission. http://www.superchevy.com/how-to/tr...r-speed-build-date-codes-vins-and-input-shaft Date Code: P2A04A VIN: 12S512436 Case: 3925661 I was told it was from a Corvette. Rear mount does not go with it. I will be using it on the M23Z I'm swapping in. Definitely M20 with two rings on input shaft. It felt tighter than my 91K original M21 around the input shaft and shifted crisper as well. The images are hi-res so open them to get a better look and I will take more if needed. If you are serious, I can take the side cover off but I don't know what I'm looking for. I put a new rear seal and rear bushing in it. That was a challenge. They kept sending me Turbo 400 parts that were NOT quite right. It has fresh GL-4 fluid in it from about 500 miles ago. It might need new gaskets and seals. It was hard to tell with the engine leaking so much.
I suspect it will have to wait for the right person. It is a good thing it does not take up much space.
If you look at the pile of them that are for sale for similar money, there is always something wrong with each one. Something is cracked, broke, stripped,or otherwise needs repair. Yours looks pretty good. It won’t need another tailhousing, side cover,or main case,so that’s a plus.
