Well..as someone who sells exhaust systems for muscle cars, I should have known that T/A offers that product. I am not a distributor for T/A, but I've added a link to those pipes in my Buick Downpipe section. Thanks again!
Those down pipes are the ones I mentioned earlier that I used with my 350 and stock manifolds. They bolted right up. They are 2-1/2" pipe but are downsized to maybe 2-1/4" for about 1-1/2" of length right at the connector at the manifold. I am very happy with them.
This is good to know. Pypes has done a very nice job of offering downpipes for the A-Body with a downpipe for just about all of the Big Blocks and the SBC, but there's nothing for the B-O-P small blocks. This at least give me a known solution for SBB customers. Thanks for the feedback!!
Not very often that I have any input that most everybody on the board doesn't already know! Hope it helps some guys out.
Thank you for all the useful Information. Based in that I will be ugrading step by step. For now I will leave the collector, and get the 2.5 inch piping and muffler for a single string system. Later I will get the TA downpipes or headders for the dual.. don't know yet. It is great fun learning all that stuff
Here is the result. As you don't get the one-piece-end-part for the exhaust over here in Germany, I had to be creative. Took measurement of all the bends and angles, got all the single piping parts and taught myself spotwelding over a weekend. Turned out pretty well and just found a couple of leaks. Was worth the fun. The flowmaster classic 40 turned out perfect. No drone at all at any rpm and a nice rumbling sound
