The GS had a great showing at the Grand National in Gettysburg this weekend. We had Phil with 2- 73 stage 1 cars,Ron with a Diplomat Blue 70 455 Convertible,Paul with a Stratomist blue 71 stage 1, Carl with his Gold 70 stage 1,Tim from NY. With a Stratomist blue 455 GSX,and I had my Yellow stage 1 GSX .More Buicks than Chevelles, pretty sweet . Weather was good and the cars even better.Dumb ass me didn't get any pictures, but my friend Bill Rothermil was there and sent me this shot. I know Phil took some so hopefully he will post them. It was great to hang out with all the fellow Buick guys and I hope to see you all at Hershey.
Had a great time at Gettysburg. The Buick turnout was great also. It was fantastic to have so many friends and Buicks show up. There were 7 in our class. 1 was already being loaded up and not availible for the group photo. Was a pleasure to finally get out to a show this year! Congrats to all!
View attachment 488366 This stunning 1958 Caballero Station wagon won the Zenith Award for Best Restoration for the year. It beat out a few of us who were also Nationally nominated for Awards last year. It deserved the Award. This car is beautiful. Plus here is a photo of Me, John Csordas, Carl and his brother Tom at the historic Dobbin House Tavern Saturday night for a celebration dinner. Was a fabulous weekend. P.S. Carl's 1970 Stage1 won a Senior Grand National Award. The 1973 Harvest Gold Stage1 Four Speed won a Senior Grand National Award. The mostly original SCO Yellow 1973 Stage1 Sun Coupe won a First Grand National Award. The Yellow car keeps on achieving levels I didn't think possible for a mostly original car. Thank you to John Csordas for being my best friend and the best Buick guy on the planet!
Yeah, I was surprised to see him at the show. It almost looks like you are leaning on my fender. Thanks for posting the great pictures ,It was great to get out to a show .The AACA did a nice job cheers Tim
