Question for Larry... Any real differance in the long insulator, R45TS plug vs the short style, green stripe, same R45TS plug? I have these laying around to try a smaller gap plug, same heat range. I'd be using two of the short style to make a set.
Should be exactly the same plug if they are the same part number. The green stripe would just be older. The TSX plugs have the longer ground electrodes for larger gaps.
I'd run the NGK UR-55. Like a 43 heat range. Projected nose plug with longer electrode for .060 gap. Basically the same plug I run in my engine only tapered seat and longer electrode for bigger gap. I run the FR-5.
