I could be wrong, but I don't think it had a reserve when I posted this. Which is the main reason I shared it. I thought if a guy could get it 50k it'd be a deal.
If so, couldn't you just have a shrill bidder run it up or pull the auction and worst case be out the fee? On the other hand, there is the psychological aspect on both the seller and buyer of having a no reserve auction. The seller can decide at the last minute to just let it go even if it didn't meet their internal "reserve" and a buyer knows they're going to get the car and might be willing to go a little higher. Idk - never been in either position on a high dollar item.
wonder why its missing lower rocker trim/mouldings? why so short video? looks like old bodywork/rust is starting to pop on lower quarter, door corners, lower fender. hard to say for sure. i wonder how bad floors and trunk are? no mention of SS block stamp, what heads are 186? 70 heads ={786} need way more info + better a more pics
You've got to love a car that's 50K and won't pass inspection in the state it's sold from. Does that tell you something?
Not sure why you would sell a potentially nice car with missing drip rail trim, horn button, cowl screen, hood seal plates, washer bottle, hood nozzles, wrong alt pulley, wrong wiper motor, no washer pump, ect. Does not reply to questions. I would think if you were hoping to get good money you would at least add the twenty five pictures that the ebay listing includes. Could be a nice car but presentation is poor and will hurt the sale. Maybe he could get a friend to help with the sale. These easy things to fix and correct will surely hurt the end price..
I'd disagree with you Nelson. Not on the small stuff, but isn't that an AC dash, Climate Control, AC relay, holes in the firewall for an AC vac tank? Am I the only one who thinks that's hinky on a car with papers that doesn't list AC as an option?
Frank you might be correct but I took it that it was a factory AC car from his ad and he had all the parts. I do not see the 4th page where the AC and some other options are listed. I would think that should have been added in the picture list. But as I said poor listing. But as Frank said it should be checked on.. Nelson
If everything in his ad checked out I would give him the $50k in a heart beat, for a GSX stage-1 4 Spd AC car..
