Any bowlers on the board?

This may be a very odd question, but are there any bowlers on the v8 board?

I'm not in a league or anything, but I do enjoy going for fun. Probably get out once or twice a month in the winter. If I break 100 I'm stoked.

 

I bowl, not that good, and the nearest lanes are about 30 miles away... Therefore, I don't go that often. I haven't been in a few years since I hurt my shoulder...

 

Do you bowl in a league?

Bowling for fun is what it is all about, during the winter i bowl atleast once to 3 times a week, sometimes i dont bowl good. But its always fun to be around the guys and gals in league

 

I used to average 40 games a week to get ready for national tournament and ruined my arm for that whole week. I quit bowling for a while after that

 

Just started again on two leagues after a 20 year hiatus. Things have changed quite a bit.

 

The guy who drills up my bowling equipment said the exact same thing word for word, when i asked him how he was bowling lately

 

Wife and i bowled a 9 pin no tap league in Tuesday nights for several years. Her schedule changed and we had to quit going. I could have just got on another team but the whole reason was to spend time out together. It was great fun!

 

I'm like mach1 if I break 100 I'm happy I still haven't gotten a turkey. How ever my wife's nephew is 13 and in bowling try outs he bowled a 300 and in a game he bowled a 299.

 

Thats very impressive hes only 13 and has a 300 and a 299! I didnt shoot 300 until i was 15. Did he get his ring for shooting 300?

 

He would have gotten more from it if it was a tournament and not practice.

Thats still really impressive regardless! In the one shot i saw his game seems pretty solid. Very very impressive

 

Yeah, he throws the ball really well for 13.

 

Dang Briz, I am extremely disappointed in you! That's not what I expected to read!
I like to bowl. Almost all my friends bowl. My one buddy doesn't like bowling at all. In fact he hates bowling! He always rolls a joint.

 

Bowling is fun, whenever im bowling and i see a group of people bowling and just plain having fun while doing it makes my day

 

Sorry you were disillusioned. I'll try to live up to your expectations in the future.

 

I loved bowling, but since the move to sunny SW Florida don't do it anymore. There are no candlepin lanes here.

 

Last time I went I had great fun, but I am not allowed back there any more.

 

Why are you not allowed back anymore?
