    docgsx It's not a GTX

So a friend of mine showed me a Chevrolet today that he picked up. 1975 Monza with a factory 350

Personally I would rather have a 305 car than that 350 car.

I’ve got another friend who has a 79 sunbird with factory 305 four-speed and posi. Also came with factory air. Black car red velour interior.

Anyway to answer your question. Buick made a Skyhawk. V6 only.
Yes Chevy did put very gutless 350s in some cars.

There was ONE Buick Skyhawk built with a Buick 350 from the factory. Probably an engineering car as no one knows where it could be. I don't have the documentation at my fingertips, but I have personally laid eyes on those documents. It was real.

Too bad the turbo motors never made there way into these..........I think a skyhawk or nighthawk with big tubes, some 33x16 in it would make a great dragcar

I had a 75 Monza with the 350, you would never guess you had a 350 under the hood when driving it

Well even though its 350 cubes, at only 125hp it might as well of been a 4cyl

I think there were only a couple years or so when Chevy did have the 350 option in the Monzas. I think it was only the 350-2.
But, I think the more interesting thing to remember is that you can pretty much bolt-in a Chevy 350 to Vegas and Monzas.
My reference materials actually show Chevy offered three V-8s: a 262 , 305 and 350 in varying years and states delivered to (CA emissions issues).

My brother had a chevy monza mirage. It had the 305 in it and one night we dusted a trans am with 400 off the line at a light. This thing would put you back in the seat. I had a 1980 monza with a 231 buick, 4 speed.

My first Skyhawk, a 1975 with a 4 speed, I could keep up with my buddies 1975 Chevy Laguna S-3 with a 400 4bbl. Only when we got above 110 mph could he just barely start to pull away. Of all the powertrains available in the H-Special bodies, I believe the Buick 3.8 V6 and 4 speed combo was the best.

I really enjoyed my 79 Skyhawk 231 automatic . Emerald green pearl paint with tan striped cloth seats. Smooth runner.......they smoothed out the V6....ran better than a 78 I had earlier.
With it had an overdrive trans tho......I think it was a 3 speed Opel trans

Had a chance to buy a Nighthawk once....missed out.....very cool...glowed in the dark
