8 included in the sale. I'm sure they will work on many GM moldings/ cars. But they would be correct for the rear body panel moldings on a 1964 Skylark/ Special or The lower tailgate molding on a 1964-1967 A-body wagon. They are too small for the 1965 Skylark side moldings. The package has part # 1365468 $24 shipped in the lower 48 US states. Parts are in 60586
I bought all kind of stuff through the years. Just still selling what I don't need. I've even sold some of my stuff that I did need in error. Whoops......... I also kept every clip and bolts off the cars I parted. They come in handy. I once had a freezer zip lock bag of clips for my 1965 Skylark side moldings ........a few NOS of those as well. A member and his friend came by to buy some parts ........they didn't buy that bag of clips but it was never seen again. I guess they wanted them more than me.
Brian, If these are the molding clips for the wide rear quarter panel moldings on my '64 Skylark, I am definitely interested or in line, whichever is the correct term. Is 8 enough for both sides? Thanks
Sorry these are not side molding clips. These would be for the rear body holding thinner stainless steel moldings. I likely I have some used side molding clips.
OK, thanks. How successful is it to remove these side moldings for paint and be able to reuse the clips?
Those are referred to as "bathtub" style clips. The standard side trim measures about .730 " inside and these are like .750" for a snug fit. Close Brian? BTW... still looking for BLUE floor mats!
