My car was delivered new, to Bartlett Buick /Opel. Dealership is long gone, but would love to have any artifacts, i.e. dealer deck lid name plate, license plate cover, etc.. I was fortunate to find a matchbook cover from 1970...but that is about it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, John
Watch eBay, place an ad in the dealerships local newspaper, FB page, Craigslist etc. Some dealerships really used lots of the available advertising products available from Buick and other sources and some used advertising items like that sparingly. I have been searching for 40 years for such items for my 67 (my parents still live in the area my car came from and I have them even watch at garage sales and auctions they go to) and I have found nothing from the dealership other that my original key case that has been with the car since new. I have a massive collection of 67 advertising items from other dealerships but my cars original dealership items remain elusive. Each year had book for dealership use of all advertising items available, that is a nice score so you know what you are looking for.
Thanks for the interest Keith. That book of yours is a great score. I wish you luck in your elusive search.
That's a bunch of BS Bill, I have been collecting matchbook covers for years and styles varied depending on matchbook manufacturer. TTACH=full]454666[/ATTACH]

I lived in Buffalo from 1953 to 1978. Bought a 73 Riv from them. Ha, ha, ha... Unfortunately never saved zip back then. Mikey
Richard, contact Wayne Roberts, he has all the records. He can send you a copy of a build sheet that will give you that information.
Mikey, do still have any contacts in the area, that might be able to help me find some items from that dealership? Please put out some feelers.
Hi, My father was a salesmen at Bartlett Buick from 1960 to 1985, I also worked there for a short time as an auto mechanic in the late 70's. I do have some items that my father had saved, although these are not for sale. Here is a sample of some of them. I will take a look an see if I have any other key rings or nameplates. I currently own a 1970 Buick GS Stage 1 and still reside in the Buffalo, NY area. Thanks, Chuck
Chuck, do you get out to shows in the area? Would love to see your car out somewhere a little north of Buffalo.
Not much, I'm at Pautler's on Transit Rd for there Tuesday cruise night in good weather. I would rather spectate at the car shows, I also judge a few of them. I will be at the AACA car show June 14 at Elma Village Green, Elma, NY.
