Very cool and simple idea, I love it. When I seen that early 80's Porsche dash pad I laughed, cause I have 2 of them and they all crack up exactly like that. I think this is a much better solution than the stupid dash wraps they sell. Keith
I saw this product advertised on TwoGuysGarage https://www.heirloomtraditionspaint.com/restore-coat-repair-compound-kit-everything-you-need/ There was a video but I can't find it. The video showed some good end results but I don't know how it really looks and feels.
Figures - I sold all my cracked dash pads last year. I never saw this (was on a board hiatus at the time b/c a mod deleted one of my posts & I was pissed).
I too wonder how it holds up. I reckon it will crack again along the repair lines. It does look good.
I filled a crack in my dash with black Permatex RTV 30 years ago, and it's still pliable. It has held up better than the rest of the dash, in fact.
