Bought a 68 Custom Deluxe with chrome side swoop trim and apparently used to wear skirts, anyone have the short rear w/o chrome? Thanks Jeff
Little dinged up I see, what do you need for them? Just got the car and not sure yet whether to keep chrome or dechrome sides. Thanks Jeff
The GOOD part is the pics show minor damage, very common pics are cleverly taken to not show bad areas. They can be repaired & brought back to OEM fairly easily. Try to find another set in better condition. I'm pretty sure you'll be waiting & looking for awhile.
Someone has been asking me for some.I need to find his #. Will pass on info+ advise - if original poster don't want them
Hello, Looks like first respondent (AZChevs) may have removed his pics? I certainly didn't mean to offend anyone with the "dinged up" comment. I just got the car and will take time to restore, so I don't have an urgent immediate need, however if I find a good set now I would certainly purchase now and set them aside for later. Not desperate at the moment to where I want to try and hammer out dents though ;-) Roberta, your photos unfortunately are either out of focus or low-resolution and I can't really tell the condition. Can you please provide some better pics? Thank you all Jeff
No offense at all, no response directly is where I will just pull my offer off and sell it else where.
I have two sets. One slight scuffing. The other as good as it gets for original and not refinished in my opinion. two pics attached. #2 is the scuffed a little one. I have bunch more pics , let me know if the ones I attached show good detail. I am trying to figure out fair prices for my 10 years of parts I need to let go so I will put a # to the trim tonight if you are interested.
Hi 68calivert, My apologies, I went on a trip the day you posted these and holidays/life got in the way and never seen them until today! I did find an NOS right side recently, still need left and realize I will probably be buying a "pair" and having a spare. What do you need for a pair then? I promise to respond in less than 2 months ;-) Thank you Jeff
