I have gave this much thought. And I will be offering a service. I will hunt down any car for you. I live in the high desert of California and the cars just do not rott here. I am also a truck driver with a ridiculous rural route and spend alot of time on the local ads. I have a gift for kicking a tire and have brought all my cars prices down significantly. I know of some stashes people dont and I knock on doors and know of cars that dont ever go on craigslist. On top of that I will store your car at my house for no longer than a year until shipping is available for YOU, with updated pictures and videos. Everything will be done in writing and will be legit for the safety of both of us. And i will verify every car is not stolen with my state dmv before we move forward. You will be able to talk to the seller. I will offer towing to my house. PM me your phone number so we can talk because I prefer it that way. I can also hunt engines down and build crates to ship them out fastenal or what ever you want. Spred the word.
I’d be interested in the white Stage II test mule car that disappeared or burned up,please Ronnie. Might be listed under “car 4085” to make it easier for you to find heh heh OR.....this one!
I will settle for the rear spoiler & 442 trumpet exhaust tips then Ummm well actually the spoiler is painted on so skip that Ronnie unless you find the quarter extensions & decklid : )
Fritz, The rear bumper and exhaust tips are on something else now. That was an early design study car when they were developing the GSX Package. If you think about it you will probably figure out where they are today. The Stage 2 car is gone, and the parts and Hood ended up on the Jones-Benesick car. (Spelling) Duane
Ronnie, Looking for a 1969 Olds 442 4 Speed W30 car. Must have docs for W30, matching numbers and not a basket case. Hardtop or convertible. that should keep you busy...
I may hire you for a square body GM/Chevy short bed 2 wheel drive. Don't care about interior. NO RUST. I will PM you
I'm interested in anything 1961 Plymouth Fury,Belvedere,Savoy, coupes,2dr posts ,4drs, station wagons, parts or cars
I did a pretty good hunt & catch today. Been keeping my eye out for a 91-6 RoadMaster. Well I spotted this white whale so I pull on to the property. Owner is outside and I tell him why I pulled up. Now at distance I cant really tell a RM from a Cap well turns out it's a 92 305 Caprice LTZ. Car looks strait kind of on the slimy side bean sitting since 14. Open doors not bad for what I can see. (used as dry storage) So Im thinking at this point this will work ask him whats the story? Oil in water,, Ok Its a SBC no biggie piece of cake. So Im mulling up a $ amount in my head. Finally ask him whats fair.. 100 bucks he says.. Well got me another chevy turns out the LTZ was a civilian dressed and Cop Car bigger brake stiffer suspension cop speedo Possibly Posi ETC. Later on in 94 the LTZ got dropped and the SS came out. Here one thing that Ive never saw on a Caprice or RoadMaster dang thing has a sun roof.. Ill have to join a B-Body forum to see how rare this is I just spent couple of hours searching the web for sunroofs on B-bodys Tomorrow I'll work on getting it started. My trailers winch is dead. rather try to start it than come along that beast up their.. Update. Car runs Great ..... Not a Buick but ohwell. Its not a fwd that all that matters
Ronnie, that is a good gig, I have done it for several years along with the new/used car concierge service, there is lots of money to be made. I have steered mine more toward the high end luxury car/supercar folks. It's much easier to find a Rolls to fit someone's wish list than a specific classic car, but I have done a fair amount of that also. Just always be upfront with people, don't tell them you are onto something and get their hopes up just to make it look good.
Can't see this post, not a member. Not looking for something already redone either, looking for rust free possibly original that can use the easy mechanical upgrades, not the PITA body work upgrades that the vehicles that age hear in the rust belt need.
Thanks Keith. Being honest is what has gotten me by, plus your reputation could be taken at any moment. Pass it on to your people I have access to a running reatta coupe with those good seats for $300.
