I will do that. I ordered a cheap flaring tools set on Amazon to cleanly flare the ends of tubes and better hold the rubber hoses.
Thank you Bruno ! So it seems your L-shaped connection on the pump goes behind the line that goes to the carburetor. On my pump, the L-shaped connection goes in front of so there is no space for my carb line. Your fuel pump is like the old one I had. A pump for Skylark 1972 and not 1970!
Now it's definitively OK ! The hose is quite far from the manifold, the belt and the bend is not too tight to risk crushing the hose.
