Major bummer Enclosed trailer got damaged tonight by hail...

We have had some significant rain and hail since 3 pm here and we are going to get another round soon.We are still under a tornado watch till 10 pm as well..My enclosed trailer sustained allot of damage on the roof as well as my Beetle. My old F350 weathered it rather well though..I am a little upset abut it,but my insurance will be contacted tomorrow Didn't get chance to check out the metal on the garage.. This was by my back door after 5 minutes..And the west side of the house

I parked my F-250 under my 150 yr. old. oak tree. Because of hail. Smart or stupid? No Hail damage but risk of branch damage. I was sitting in the yard this evening watching the wind blow south east. Then North . Back in forth couple times watching the clouds spin. what a night.

 

At least you can’t really see the roof of the trailer. Do they knock the dents out of them?

 

The only thing is the roof is a 1 piece roof that I paid $1000 more for so there were no seams It's aluminum to boot. You can really see the dents from inside..I am not sure what the outcome will be..

 

Can they replace the whole roof?

 

My truck did not get a dent under the tree. But my neighbors where not that lucky. 3000 miles on this WRX.

 

Hail hit this car so hard the front urethane bumper still has impressions . unreal

My neighbor brought the car to our Autobody. My wife says it won’t be totaled. Wow What a supplement. this is gonna be. We will be booked up until October. All day long cars have been coming in. And it’s still Storming. All new flood watches. Poor people who had flooded basements. Filling up again.

 

Pat if it’s a nice trailer. Put a new roof on it. Or just take the money.

 

Pat you could always panel it on the inside and hide the dents. If you can see the rib channels all they do is screw furing strips to it and then staple white panel board to that .

 

My insurance has said they carry a $2000 coverage that can fix the roof. We are meeting on Tuesday or Weds next week. It is a 2 year old trailer that has only hauled 1 car I was laid up 2 years ago due o a shoulder surgery and last year I had a bout with Lyme's disease,so I didn't pull it except for to get annual inspections 2 miles out the road.

 

What are your symptoms Pat? I have it. It’s changed me. Don’t have the Drive i use too. They say the antibiotics don’t work. Tell me how you feel. Even though most of my neighbors have it. I really don’t know their sideffects.

Pat did you catch it. First 6 days after bite? Or did you let it go. Because you thought it was the flew?

 

When i had it in the 4-5 day I was paralyzed . My joints were a mess every joint. My bed was totally soaked. Days on end. 6 day went to doctor. Red spots all over my back. Nobody seen them on me. Because i would take a shower everyday. Then throw on a T- shirt. so unseen. Never want to go through that again

 

I'm sending a California vehicle to Lawrence KS in the fall. How much does a hail-rider usually cost?

 

We had over 20 non drives come into our shop from that hail.

 

$2000 damage to the enclosed trailer,$7500 to my garage roof..But,the old tough Ford dually sustained NO damage as did the Beetle!
