Does anyone reproduce the Rad Support for 1970 Skylark? Will also be looking for Floor Pans and Crossmember. Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks,
Yes, The Parts Place should have them all. https://www.thepartsplaceinc.com/part/1970/skylark-gs-regal-gn/body-panels/core-supports4 https://www.thepartsplaceinc.com/part/1970/skylark-gs-regal-gn/body-panels/floor-pans-full-length1 https://www.thepartsplaceinc.com/part/1970/skylark-gs-regal-gn/body-panels/floor-pan-sections4 https://www.thepartsplaceinc.com/pa...atic-transmission-related-parts/crossmembers2
Perfect, thank you. The crossmember isn't the one for the transmission, it's the brace that runs horizontally across the floor, behind the front seat. Is it build into the pan, or is it a separate piece? Perhaps I called it the wrong thing.
I think he’s talking about the floor pan brace. It is spot welded to the floor pan. Dave is correct. The entire floor pan section that is sold has a new floor pan braces. The floor pan sections sold do not come with new braces. I don’t know if you can buy just the floor pan braces or not.
Got the core support from The Parts Place. It and the recored rad are in, and everything is put back together. But now, the steering wheel is constantly shaking/vibrating. Anyone ever experience this?
Turns out the alignment was off after the new core support tightened everything up. All set for the summer! Thanks to everyone that replied and helped out here. And those in email as well. You know who you are.
