The stuff I do for you Jeff, siiiiiiiiiigh well u forced me to start early but just finished yer black handle.......
The correct ball will not have the shift pattern on it. There was either an Oldsmobile guy reproducing them or a guy in Tennessee that does restorations if my memory serves me right that was making them. Hopefully someone else will jump in and close the loop. I purchased 3 and they look great installed...... Best of luck!
If u can spare one more after 41speciman I’ll give ya $30 : ) Jeff first though er he’ll killate me lol
Same thing really. Fusick get them from Thornton. There are two kinds of balls- with or without the pattern. The OP didn't specify. Cars with the consolette got the plain one. Cars without got the pattern
I will take one for me and buy one for Quick Draw just need name and address and will send a cashiers check off to you thanks Jeff
Jeff, I will PayPal Rick the money via Friends & Family for yours (early Christmas present : ) or yours and mine if he doesn’t mind selling me one also. Either way I got yours covered
The ones w/ the pattern that I got from Thornton were slightly larger diameter than what Buick used. Had posted dims somewhere on here previously, but can find out if anyone needs to know. Wasn't noticeable visually but noticed 1st time I drove it having had numerous 4-sp. GS's since I was 18. The larger Olds one I thought was actually more comfortable.
Dave Johnson made a run of really nice shiny black shifter balls. Just like factory. I was lucky enough to buy one from him for the Aquamist car at the time
