Thanks! The guy who sold it put it this way, and it made sense. Its a 2 footer. Its not a 10 footer, but when you get up on it you can see the issues. Its solid, but around the vinyl top in the back you have the start of some surface rust. The lacquer is cracked in places. I figure, drive it a minute, take care of it, and paint it in a few years when I can save some cash. Yeah, I was really impressed when I saw all that. I'm fairly new to the community, but I knew that name.
That's a good looking car. I'm a big fan of the vinyl tops. I had a 'saffron' 68 Cutlass Supreme with a black top. The color was similar to yours. In the spring when all the pine trees dump their yellow pollen, all I did was clean the vinyl top, it was like a new paint job every year!
Congratulations on your first GS. Just like others have said that's one heck of a first GS. I am sure it runs fantastic John O. really knows how to make a Buick run.
