Bought one from Sloan's. When they created master copy, took tear-off strip with color/top info from top of form and put it at bottom below options...most likely to make everything fit 8 1/2 X 11. Not what I wanted... No luck finding example of covered up part online. Have '70 and '72 examples...they're different. Going to (try to) Photoshop form back to original, but could use help from anyone who has an original. Need dimensions, with or without top tear strip. To help with bottom recreation, a pic of at least the bottom would be all I could hope for...
Can't believe Sloan cut it up. I'm traveling so I don't have it with me, but I wonder if Mike Trom's book has a copy in it. It would be in black and white font however so I don't know if that would help you. I will be home tomorrow and will check.
Maybe Brian has something, we'll find out when he gets home. If necessary, I can use Mike's b&w, but it'll need lots of work to colorize and fix hole punch...I'm no Photoshop wiz. I've got color examples of '70 and '72, but boxes and text on each are different from '71... If someone has an original, knowing size would be helpful...copies may have been adjusted to 8 1/2 X 11 paper.
I think I have a complete 71 GS Revision 1 copy but it is Black & White also. If memory serves me correct, I only have the full copy of the front, and an 8 1/2" x 11" of the back. Duane
Looks like I'll be working with Mike's b&w, thanks for posting it. ...appreciate your taking the time. So is 8 1/2 X 11 true size of form minus top piece? Using Photoshop ruler, looks like top piece is 1/2 to 9/16 high. TRIVIA: Form is mult-part...how many parts? Then there's "REFER TO BACK OF LAST COPY," what's on back of last page?
The sheet is not 8 1/2"x 11" I have my front sheet in an 8 1/2"x 11" clear plastic sheet protector and have the bottom folded over so it fits in the sheet protector. It is probably another 1 1/2" longer. For the back side I have another copy and it is only an 8 1/2"x 11" in size. It almost looks like the info did not go down the entire page, so someone only needed to copy it on the regular size paper. Duane
All along I've been rejecting images with clipped tops and/or bottoms as careless copying..."assume" strikes again... If front sheet safely removable, can you tell me length and width, otherwise width will do. Pretty sure I can reconstitute form in Photoshop using width only.
Nope, just want an accurate Wholesale Order Form. Re-read original post...bought a Wholesale Order Form from Sloan, expecting an accurate copy. It wasn't...would've bought an original if possible. Originally thought form was 8 1/2 X 11 and it would be a simple matter to cut and paste bottom. This thread revealed form NOT 8 1.2 X 11 after all, and no one has a color copy in any size...my task is defined...
Without knowing original dimension(s), assumed mine and Mike’s were copied 1:1 (8 ½ W). Unsure since form on Marco’s webpage clipped on sides, suggesting original wider than scan. Length clearly longer than 11. From there, straightened/restored cut/pasted top strip back to top of form and fixed 3-ring binder holes and void left at bottom. Wasn’t able to recreate original bottom text. Font used has closer letter spacing, leaving noticeably more space at end of first red line. May fix when have more time, otherwise happy with result. Final assumed size is 8 1/2 X 12 3/8 with top strip and 8 1/2 X 11 11/16 without, both need legal paper. Edit: finally found time to fix red lettering at bottom. Made personal copy specifically for my GS, with dealer plate stamp and hi-lited options. Done.
With so little in public domain for '71s, I'm kinda OCD about what is out there...and if anyone has original dimensions, I'm more than happy to make adjustments...
