This is the first time these have seen the light of day in probably 15 years. Purchased them in BG and the guy that sold them to me suggested they laid them in a car but never dropped the engine down over them so they pretty much have "shelf wear". Currently covered with a cheap black paint that I think Hooker now calls shipping paint. Both are marked part number 1203. They seem to differ from the latest version in that the flange is cut off between the center and aft tubes. $375 plus ride from northern Kentucky. I once saw this model header on a '72 GS clone and they really look good under the hood!
This is what Hooker says: https://www.holley.com/products/exhaust/headers_and_exhaust_manifolds/all_headers/parts/1203-1HKR The flange has changed from the current offering (removed between center and aft tubes) but I doubt anything else has.
To The Top With Price Drop... Jegs wants over 700 for this product: https://www.jegs.com/i/Hooker-Headers/520/1203/10002/-1 FYI - Jet Hot Coatings says $300 inside and out to do these
Inline. Whats shipping to 44053?.. Being used in a 1970 gs 4 speed non air Any potential z bar clearance problems? I've read some headers interfer with the clutch linkage.
I'm looking out for headers. A couple of old hookers should do the job. Do you know if these will fit a '65 without being beaten coyote ugly?
Joe made em work if these are in the rail...maybe PM him http://www.v8buick.com/index.php?threads/some-pictures-of-my-buick.255584/#post-2092522
