Sorry Ray,we left Saturday morning,we had some smoking problem with the race car,so we left.I never read your reply,so I did not know that you were going to be there. But he is only one hour away from the track,so he is not far away from you..The town is Huntersville,I did not spell it right the last time. Before that he went to a car show, enclosed, and some body asked him if he wanted to sell it,he quoted something like $65.000.The car has the original carburetor ,original motor and transmission, this is a OW,from the Olds 442.It's a car with buckets and console, everything is brand new.So if that's out of your budget, just forget about it.Bruno.
Ray, I know it's been asked before, but what is your max dollar amount you're willing to spend? Might not be able to find one in your area, but if we know how much your budget is, maybe we can help find one that still fits with shipping in from another part of the country. I don't have one for sale, so telling me that you've got 40k doesn't mean I'm going to try and rip you off and sell you one right at 40k. It just means I'll look for ones that are a few grand under 40k, for example.
Would like to be around 30,000 does not have to be a restored car as long as it original car with a/c and bucket seats stage 1 car ???
If this one hasn't been shared yet, it's only 3 hours away from me in Spokane. I know it's not a Stage car, but I'll be over in the area middle of next month for a car show: https://seattle.craigslist.org/see/cto/d/1971-buick-gran-sport-455/6581269224.html
If I was looking for a done car I would be on a plane tomorrow or have a trusted appraiser look at it.
^^^The end of the video confirmed my suspicions. That’s the Bittersweet Mist car that was for sale for a good while in NY State. I think the word “crusty” was used by someone to describe it.
I have one I would deliver to you. California car. Rock solid Stage 1. Bittersweet Mist, Saddle interior, AC, but bench seat. Numbers car.
