I need help identifying some old parts I got recently. i am assuming these came off of the same car, as I received them bundled. Any idea what year and model of Buick these parts went to? Any help would be appreciated!
Awesome, they definitely look like it now that I look them up. Any idea what these pieces are technically called? Are they all just emblems or trim? I got them in a bundle for $40, not sure if I got a good deal. Also don't know what to do with them yet ha.
The V shaped one is a trunk emblem the one that says Buick is the hood emblem. $40 sounds decent-I'm sure someone can use these parts.
Correct: pic 2 is B-59 hood emblem, pic 5 is B-59 trunk emblem. Pic 6 is B-58 front fender top piece. Pic 3 with the Buick crest is pre-'59, but could not quickly find it. Early '50s it looks like; too 'heavy' for late '40s. Pic 4 is 60 Ford steering wheel (with horn ring broken off). IMO these are basically good to clean up & wall hang.
pic 5 is '55 Buick rear trunk emblem. Removed & leaded holes on MANY. The picture is Burned in my head FOREVER.
I agree with Mark - The V-shaped "power steering" emblem is Ford. I also agree with Tom on the "55 deck lid emblem. I had three '55s, and none were "decked".
Pretty sure that photo 6 is a '55 hood ornament. The '58 fender ornaments were very close to the '55 hood ornament, but the spear was much longer. The circle V is probably the same.
