This is the one one ebay a few months back, its beautiful and looks to be done right but $60k seems pretty steep......... https://www.hemmings.com/classifieds/dealer/buick/wildcat/1939907.html?refer=alert
That car sure checks a lot of the right boxes - Buckets, lots of options, RED paint, full restoration probably cost more than they are selling it for. But I agree the asking price is a bit much.
Stunning, absolutely stunning. It has just about every conceivable option possible. It's also a garage queen, I don't think that car has been driven since it's been restored. If I had that kind of disposable cash, I'd pay it, simply because a brand-new luxury car would still cost more, and that's what this thing is, brand-new.
"It's a beauty too" The restored one that was for sale @ or around the time of the BCA Nats last summer (same car?) was still the best deal I can recall seeing on one of these.
Beautiful, but dreaming for that price. There are many nicer earlier year Wildcat Convertible available at a lesser price. But all it takes is one fool and his money to prove me wrong.
Yes, this is the same one that was for sale last summer - it appears this dealer must have purchased it from Don. It's a beautiful car and beautifully done, but if I am going to fork out top dollar for a car it better have the original paint color on it and the correct tires.
That was/is a beautiful car and I thought very reasonably priced last summer IIRC (like $20k ish?). I can see modern tires, but what was the orig. Color? Hard to imagine going to that length on that car and then doing a color change.
I contacted seller when it was on ebay, I think he said original color was Harvest Gold(I think) If it had been gold, I was tempted....
