A few of us had new bests yesterday. The lowly Buick 350 went 13.02@102. I will let others post their own numbers. Thanks to Terry, Dave, Donny for putting this together, my boy and I had a great time.
Congrats Tim on the 11.81 116.6 and it wasn't even a great 60 ft time for you .11.70's are going to happen soon.
Love the fall weather...I had a new best at LVD with the 73 on Friday too. What was your 60 ft on that run Tom? And according to Tim, the DA wasnt all that great (maybe 1400-1500?)..Just think of what you could do at sea level or minus?
Congrats. I get a kick out of seeing that you think 1500' corrected elevations is "not great". I race in 3800-5000' air in Medicine Hat Alberta & when we still had a track in Calgary a typical air day was 6000' with many days tickling 7000' corrected altitude.
Yes, thanks to Terry, Dave, & Donny. Good times at the track. What a difference running with all the cars with slicks. Traction was not issue.
All relative for sure. Of course you are aware that there is a full half second correction from 5000' down to sea level. 500 ft is a poor day at Mission BC track. Need to take my junk out there & run.
Had a Great time, thanks again that put these events on and give us a place to play. The Blue car is Back!! Ran Great, Couldn't be happier right now.. Set a new best 3 times Saturday 11.85, 11.82 and 11.81@116.64 with a 1.84 60ft.:3gears: I Even won my Shootout.. hell yeah:Brow:
Thanks Terry, Dave and Donny. The rent-a-racer managed to equal the ET from Stanton, 14.97. But unlike Stanton I backed it up a few times, 14.98 and a 15.02. Such a fun car. The next time everyone will see it will be at MCACN :TU: Then I'll have to give it back, since the GT-37 will be coming home .... finally
