Thanks Chris, just got back in town, will be in contact with him soon. $15.5k do seem pretty pricey tho
You beat me to it Chris! Saw this last week and was going to post it here. Looks like a pretty nice Cat.
Chris and Dano, talked with him yesterday. His dad bought car from original owners wife in 2000 with 60k, it was an original Bamboo Cream/White top combo, hes filled side running light locations and hood venting(at windshield), non posi car. He does have road wheels and lower rocker panel trim, I'm gonna pass on this one....... Tom
A lot of insurance companies will not insure a Salvage Title car or if they do you cannot get full coverage on it. Run away from this one as fast as you can for 4,500. Tom
Pretty sure this car was at the BCA show in Allentown. Pretty darn nice. I think he said it was a 6 or 7 year resto. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Buick-Other...70f22431:g:vnwAAOSwmLlX6Zdo&item=122154001457
Might as well get this one too! http://www.ebay.com/itm/311705486985?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT
Looks well worth it, and even if not, based on book value, and one wanted a really nice Cat, who cares if it was a couple thousand $ more than its "worth" and not that this matters wrt the value, but I'm sure at that $ a huge loss to the owner (I.e. You couldn't come close to building that car @ that price).
Agreed!!!!' He probably has more than twice (three times?) that into it, and IMO, that would be a good buy if you could get it for that.
I don't know anything about the Cats, but is that the original type console used in them? If so, at least from what I've seen buckets/console is a pretty unusual option and to me if that is OE and even more so if original to this car would add some significant value.
2-3x at least. Wish I had space in the garage for it. This one and the vert above would make for a pair of a Cool Cats!
