Good lord for $3k you could have a sheet metal intake built, and certainly have a regular off intake modified for much less
I don't think it was made in the mid-eighties like the ad says, TA Stage 2 heads didn't come out that early, did they?
That TA/Offy intake is very rare. When I first made the aluminum 455 Stage 2 cylinder head there was no intake. The only other intakes out there was the Offy 360 single plane and the Edelbrock B4B. I got to know the Offenhauser and at one point ask if I could barrow there dual quad intake pattern in return I would modify it so that it would work on all the late model heads. At the time that intake only fit 1967 through 1971. It's flanges dipped down into the heat crossover on the later heads and need to be fixed to cover the cross over port on 72-76. Now in that picture it still looks low in the center, that's because this intake was raised over the runners to seal on the first high port heads. The floors of the ports were filled in as well and the roofs are at standard stock height. I was able to modify there tooling without permanently changing it. That intake just needs to be port matched. There were only 15 TA Performance dual quad intakes ever made to fit the High Port TE heads. These were made in the early 90's. I haven't seen one of those in years.
