I was working on the skylark yesterday and I think I finally killed the mechanical fuel pump. I want to put in an electric fuel pump and regulator that I would be able to use with an ls based motor down the road if I decide to do a swap. I am guessing aeromotive. Right now the motor is a 350 with a hx35 turbo and I did'nt adjust the waste gate enough and I think a spike in boost broke the mechanical fuel pump, fuel is barely trickling into the fuel filter. Also what about fuel lines? make my own from a spool ?
Aeromotive phantom fuel system. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/aei-18688 You can use push lok hose.
I can use hose the whole way? 6an feed 8 an return? Im guessing I will have to upgrade the alternator as well.
It's not rubber hose, push lok is heavily reinforced hose legal for the track. http://www.summitracing.com/search/product-line/aeroquip-aqp-socketless-hose
