Was looking for a 1969 GS 400 convertible, but seems to be nothing available, how about 1970 or 1971 GS 455 would prefer a convertible, but would entertain a hardtop. Want a daily driver do not want a jack stand queen, needs work is ok as long as it is not major. Thanks!!
Hello Chris Good question, I have been keeping tabs on these years and there are prices out there that are just insane.I see fair market between $15K to $25K depending on condition. What do you believe is a fair price for the years I am looking into? Thanks Bob
Bob, If you are truly looking for "daily driver" quality, and are okay with non numbers matching, and aren't super picky on options and colors, then I think you should have no problem finding something in that range, especially in a coupe. There are lots of coupes out there in this price range. Less converts out there, but you should still be able to find one in the top half of your range. It may take a little time though, and travel, depending on your location. Converts you probably already know about: http://www.cars-on-line.com/79754.html http://www.cars-on-line.com/74823.html ??? http://www.cars-on-line.com/75615.html
Thanks for the leads Chris, I have seen these and contacted the owners most have not responded, but will keep looking Thanks Again!
How do you feel about a 70 GS convertible clone? I am putting mine on the market in the spring. The car was restored by a board member and owned by another.
