I am looking for a 69 buick skylark 2dr I sold in 1998 in jacksonville nc. It was green with white chevelle stripes on the hood and trunk. i sold it with a olds rocket 350 motor. It had the motor mounts welded to the frame. Its rear end housing was green and had a yellow smiley face on it( a friend of mine painted it on it-not me.) It had two holes in the hood where I mounted camaro fender openings in it so it would look like a 70 gs. it had a black interior. I have the vin but cant find any information on it. I will be posting photos of it in a day ot two. Any help would be appreciated.
Does anyone know anyone in the area of jacksonville that collects skylarks. I am going to jacksonville nc in march and would like to find someone down there that may have seen it.
Since you know the VIN, you might want to check with the DMV in that state might give you some leads. o No:
Could be that the person you sold the car to had every intention of restoring it, and then as time went by and financial situations changed, he sold it to someone who parted it out, or he parted it out after starting the project and realized it was more than was bargained for. Perhaps widen the search to surrounding states DMV`s,GL with your search. Jim/Rott
