Hi, Does anyone have a Hurst Autostick 1 for the TH350? Wondering what is out there and what they go for.
Are you still looking for a Hurst Autostick 1? I have a complete setup, came off a turbo 400. Thanks, John
>>Hi John, I actually found one locally a while back. Is yours the early version with the weld on stick or later version with the bolt on stick?
From looking at some of the pictures I have, it appears to be the early weld on type but I would have to verify physically.
Hi John, I gave it some thought but since I already have a Hurst Autostick 1 setup in my Buick now I think that I would be better off spending the money on other parts that I need. Thank you for thinking of me. You should get a good amount of money for it on ebay though.
I paid $180 for my Hurst Autostick 1 - which was for the turbo 350 and was complete with the mounting bracket, shift rod, and tranmission bracket. It you have the original style with the welded on stick and the chrome is really nice then I would say you should probably start with $200 and let it go from there. There is a guy on ebay called Johnny Mustache (he actually lives a few towns over from me) who now reproduces the Hurst Autostick 1 shifter knobs for $30 - and they are really nice - just added one to my set up two weeks ago.
That shifter looks to be in very nice condition John. I would clean it up and put it on ebay - you should get a good amount for it.
Took your advice and put it on eBay. Wow, it went crazy! Got $320.00. Question, do you have a manual or know were I can get a copy of the manual for an Autostick? It would help out the guy that got it. Thanks, John
>>Yeah, I figured it would! Those shifter are as rare as hens teeth. I really wish that Hurst would start making them again or perhaps a retro version similar to it. I do have the manual for the Autostick (for both the 350 and 400 transmissions). PM me your address and I'll send you a copy.
