As the title says, this is a 1973 Electra 4dr Hardtop for complete part-out. NO ENGINE. But do have all brackets, pulleys, AC compressors, etc from the underhood. What is missing is the block, heads and intake. I have everything else. Trunk floor is toast. No trunk materials survived, sorry. Everything else is in pretty good shape. Chrome is driver quality at best (sorry Yuk, door handles are like every other one you've seen...). Fenders have typical rust behind the wheel, doors are pretty solid with what looks to be surface rust along the bottom, quarters seem to be rust free but the left quarter is dented at the rear when bumper hit it in a low speed collision. I won't ship big stuff (bumpers, doors, hood and the like) , just too much hassle. If you let me know, I can have anything and everything at the BPG nationals August 2-3 near Columbus, OH and we can save on shipping and hassle. Other wise big stuff must be picked up here in Marysville, Ohio (30 miles Northwest of Columbus). I will ship smaller stuff at your cost. My zip code is 43040 so you can get an idea on your own as to the cost of shipping. I will also be at Buick Club of America Nationals in South Bend, Indiana and can bring stuff with me there too. GSCA maybe a possibility, but I would not count on it. Until I post otherwise, I am keeping the complete interior, the wheels and some other minor trim. You MUST post in this thread to get in line, ask a question, etc. I'm a super moderator for goodness sake. I must follow the rules to the best of my ability. PM's, unless I initiate, will not be responded to and deleted from my mailbox.
Hey Lou, Both mirrors have pits and faded chrome. I'd do $50 plus shipping (or pickup @ BPG) for both (2 total) including cables, knob, etc. No Max-Trac.
Minus complete interior, wheels and front bumper & valance-$750. It's worth that to the scrap dealer.
Trunk lock mechanism works great although the cover is pitted. Driver quality @ best. Skirts work as they should. The driver side has a sheet metal screw through the chrome trim to keep it tight, hard to see in the picture.
What ya think on a price the car is just a driver if that and it don't have to go far I am in Ohio too and no hurry thanks Dan. :TU:
dan ive got a free front and rear seats and a few other things from a 73 4 door if you are interested in the car as a driver. I parted one out cause it was rusted bad. if you dont get it ,how is the rear driver floor? I see the lower pass quarter is rusted how is the driver side.
Brad I'm gonna pass on the skirts the car isn't worth that much to me its just a carb tester because I am gonna sell it in 4 years won't need it anymore thought I would get some of the parts that are missing before hand.
