I am looking forward to the GS nats. and the Stage 1 reunion this Summer. Thanks for the compliments on my Stage 1 as well. Marco, How many cars are expected this July in Hebron Ohio?? Regards, Upstaged in Michigan.
81 degrees today. Took the Stage 1 out with the top down (of course)! It has been a long Winter but she runs / looks great. I will be in Columbus for the Stage 1 reunion this Summer. Regards, Upstaged in Michigan
wish every day was a sunny day for a top down but i guess we have to suffer till its sunny congrats on the car awesome job
Thanks again for all of the compliments, men ( and ladies ). I will be in Columbus at the end of July for the Stage 1 reunion. We have had a really rough/ stressful couple of months but things are recovering. As always, family is top priority but friends and hobbies also help the "big picture" stuff. regrads, Upstaged in SW Michigan.
5 weeks until Bowling Green. I am ready, as is the car & trailer. I might want to "caravan" down with someone from SW Michigan or Northern Indiana since I will be pulling my 28 foot enclosed Haulmark trailer. Regards, Upstaged in SW Michigan.
The Stage 1 is put in heated storage for another Winter here in Michigan. I did not make the BG Nats due to work schedule, 60 hours per week. Bu I am working!!!! Regards, Upstaged in SW Michigan.
20 plus inches of snow and 40 mph winds. The barn is about 70 degrees and I cannot wait until Spring 2011! Regards, Upstaged in snowbound Michigan.
I'm really looking forward to seeing this beauty! I think its tougher putting a ragtop away for the winter than a hardtop. Mid April is right around the corner . Then I can do my interior stuff and get back to driving.
I used to (25 years ago) live in Miami Lakes just off the Palmetto X-way. Back then I did not have my Stage 1 convt. but I did have my 1972 GS 350 vert. I still have it but I need to post some pictures of it back "then" and all of the notes that were left under the windshield wipers. This is back when Fla. only had 3 or 4 areacodes and I recall the closing of Eastern Airlines that was based out of Miami. It is a 350/ 4-speed convt. Orange with white top and interior. Few options but who cares! At the time my Mom drove it all around SE Florida and she did and still does love that Buick. She is now approaching her mid 80's and of course she learned to drive a manual tranny back then. Regards, Upstaged in SW (snowbound) Michigan. I have to mention that NO, it is not for sale.
I found a few old pics of my 72 GS 350 convt.I will attempt to post them here on this board next week. Still snowing and single digit temps for this upcoming week. The barn is 70 degrees. Regards, Upstaged in SW Michigan.
I just wanted to verify that my Stage 1 is not being discussed in the cars for sale leads here on this board.Mine truly is 1 of 15 1972 Stage 1 verts with a 4-speed. Is it possible to place 1 of my pics in my avatar? Regards, Upstaged in SW Michigan.
Last drive of the year. Between my driveway and my neighbors, about 1 mile each way. Hey, It was 48 degrees here today!! Back in the trailer & into the barn until Spring 2012. Merry Christmas to all. Regards, Upstaged in SW Michigan.
Gabe, Thanks for the compliment(s)! I truly appreciate the feedback from all the board members here! I am anxious for Spring/Summer of 2012. Happy New Years to all. Regards, Upstaged in Sw Michigan.
After I saw the license plates in the Gs X-tra, and there are some nice ones I "almost" forgot about mine. I get alot of compliments when I drive / show the Stage 1. Regards, Upstaged in SW Michigan.
I am selling some of my other cars here under cars for sale. Be assured, This is not one of them!! I will keep this forever and I enjoy every minute / mile in it as well.Reagrds, Upstaged in SW Michigan.
