Looking for any quanity of part #1231722 stainless capped wheel nuts. Please note that these are the early round version, not the superceded #414188 flat top version Thanks for looking.
Bob, Why not go with the repop solid stainless, they have the acorn style, don't remember who I bought my from. Good Luck Bill
Nuts are going on a concours car. I have a set of the ss repro's that I will use if I can't find nos. I think they came from CARS. About $80.00?
Yeah, but they don't stay tight, I've been told, even Gene was unaware of this, be very careful and retorque every time you go out driving.
Roberta. not sure who told you that but I used them since they first came out and never had even one loosen.o No: That was over 10 years ago.
Dave, I like the look of the nos nuts. Stainless are way too shiney. Kind of like the difference between nos headlight doors and a pair thats been rechromed. Can't go wrong with nos! You going to the Nats?
i have never had a problem with the "acorn" nuts that i purchased from then & now. torque them to 75 lbs-ft and never have to retorque.
