Hi Folks, Sorry, I did a search on this and couldn't come up with anything in this Board. Looking for an outdoor car cover for my 70' covertible GS. I know California Car cover is good, but don't want to spend $400.00. Any luck with any covers on E-Bay or elsewhere! Thanks! Ranger Aiken, SC
Best car cover is a garage. But I bought one, because my garage is packed with gym equipment and woodworking tools. I got my car cover from Costco, I believe I paid $60-$70 for it.
Not all that bad, for being made in Chinee. I really wish I could have got one made in the US of A. Maybe that's the $300 one?
the costco one is decent, in chicago, the are about 33 bucks, good for keeping dust and water off, not great for outdoors, get the xl for the a bodies
I've not had any luck with car covers. I bought wahat was supposed to be the best, most breathable fabic. They, caused problems, from trapping dust, trapping moisture, and sticking to the paint. The humidity is just, too darned high. South Carolina, being at the same latitude as, Alabama; I would not reccomend any car cover.
WOLF brand car covers are good. I have had one for several years for my 'Vette and it is still holding up well. I have used it year round outdoors.
I have 4 of these. Great cover. http://www.CoverWithCare.com/elite-car-covers-economy-deluxe The lady who sells them is a friend of mine http://www.facebook.com/#!/tinamsnell The fit on my 70 X cars has been great. It is tailored very close to the actual car so the fit is correct.
I have a budge and have thought it was ok. Have a small tear in one corner and now I'm starting to notice scratces in my clear coat from it (atleast I think so) Taking my car to get it buffed in Mid May and will find out then. I think it was 85.00 and now I'm thinking it will be my last Budge.
